PEARL TOP: SHEIN (size XS)  || NAVY BLUE RUFFLE SKIRT: J. CREW (size 00)  || WHITE BOOTIES: NORDSTROM (size up half a size) ||

Do you ever have those days when you feel so good about your outfit and you think you look like the total s***?! That was me in this outfit yesterday.  Then my mom and I got to the shoot location and there was another photoshoot going on and one of the people there was like “oh what are you taking pictures for?” So I was just like “I’m a blogger so I’m taking pics for my blog” and the woman was like “YOU?! You’re like 12!!” Insert face palm emoji! haha!

Anyways, I am officially jumping on the white bootie trend, and I’m so happy about it.  When I first put these on I felt like a roller skater / ice skater and I wasn’t 100% sure about them.  But once I started thinking of all the outfits I could wear with these I knew I wanted to keep them. The thing I love most about these booties is that the heel is black, which I think is a great contrast with the white and I think it makes them look even more chic.

Another trend that I am LOVING is the pearl trend.  I don’t know what it is about pearls this season, but I love them on everything!  Pearls are just so classic and I love the pearl embellishments on this sweatshirt.  This sweatshirt is actually all one piece, and I love the contrast with the collar and sleeves. Not to mention, this top is only $22 so I love it even more!

Now, I know it is totally against the laws of fashion to mix black and navy, but I don’t care! I got this skirt like 3 weeks ago and I have already worn it a handful of times.  The double ruffle bottom is just darling, and navy is a great color for this season. BTW, the skirt also comes in pink and mustard!  I was walking around J.Crew trying to think of all the different ways to wear this skirt, and y’all it goes with everything! I paired it with a light blue top last week, but it also looks great with white, camel, pink, magenta, and red! And for all you working ladies, this skirt is for sure work appropriate!

XOXO, Megan
